One time and recurring donations may be submitted here, through our website. Consider setting up a monthly recurring donation. For as little as $10 per month, you can make a huge impact in the life of a woman in recovery. That $120 per year will pay for her workbooks, to get back and forth to the doctor and court appointments, and for some of her meals. Every little bit helps and for each donation, you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
Food, paper goods, personal hygiene, office supplies
Gift cards are so helpful for defraying the cost of food, paper goods, personal hygiene products and office supplies. We especially appreciate gift cards for Vons, Ralphs, Staples, Walmart, Target, etc. We also participate in the food program at FIND Food Bank. If you have non-perishable, unopened food, please contact them to donate. For more info: www.findfoodbank.org
Clothing Donations
The women who come to SHOH often show up with nothing but the clothes on their backs. All of them come either from incarceration or off the streets. Each and every woman needs clothes – especially work appropriate clothing so she can find a job as a part of her sober living transition back into a healthy lifestyle.
If you have gently used clothing to donate, please contact Desert Best Friend’s Closet – they take all clothing donations – for both men and women – and then they clothe our graduates with three (3) work-appropriate outfits. For more info, visit Desert Best Friend’s Closet at www.bfcloset.org or call (951) 849-9491.

“I’d like to thank you for the opportunity of beginning my recovery at the House of Hope. For the first time I was able to complete my 12 Steps and because of this I feel I have a strong foundation to begin my new life of sobriety. I am very thankful for being able to participate in community service and the feelings that come with giving back to the community while I resided here. The counselors were full of knowledge that helped me grow and above all, love, which I will take with me on my new journey. Once again, I’d like to thank you for this opportunity.”
– God Bless, Elizabeth
