Karyn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider with 19 years of clinical experience in mental health and labor and delivery.

She is passionate about supporting women affected by substance use disorders through evidence-based, stigma-free, and trauma-informed care.

Karyn is honored to be part of the clinical team at Soroptimist House of Hope and also serves as a professor at College of the Desert, teaching mental health and mentoring future registered nurses.
